Pay each filing fee separately.
USCIS is transitioning to electronically processing immigration benefit requests, which requires multiple systems to process applications. Because of this, you must pay each filing fee separately for any form you submit. USCIS may reject your entire package if you submit a single, combined payment for multiple forms.
Example:
If you are an adult applying for TPS for the first time and are applying for a work permit application, you will send three checks -
- For TPS application (Form I-821D) write a $50 check
- For Biometric Services write a $85 check
- For the work permit authorization application (Form I-765) write a $410 check
Make sure to make all checks, money orders, or cashier checks payable to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
