"Legal Immigration Status" means that you had a type of visa that allowed you to live in the United States on June 15, 2012. You can find a list of these visas on the State Department's website.
"Parole" means that the U.S. government allowed you to enter the United States for a specific period of time even though you didn't have legal immigration status at the time.
