If you filed your asylum application on or after August 25, 2020 and filed it more than one year after your most recent arrival in the United States, you will not be granted employment authorization under this eligibility category unless a USCIS asylum officer or an Immigration Judge determines that you meet an exception for late filing. This one-year filing deadline does not apply to unaccompanied children.
