In rare cases, an asylee may travel from the United States under a grant of advance parole. If the asylee or asylum seeker presents their advance parole document at inspection, they will be paroled into the United States. However, except in cases of emergency, you should obtain refugee travel documents to travel instead of grants of advance parole.
