Date of receipt or receipt date -
USCIS considers a benefit request “received” on the date it is physically or electronically received. This date is also known as the filing date. Asylees and asylum seekers can generally apply for a work permit 150 days after the “Received Date.
If you submitted your asylum application (Form I-589) with the immigration court, your date of receipt is when you or your attorney lodged your application or stamped by the court.
